GenAI Talent Path: Train for 6 months, get hired as a GenAI Engineer

The GenAI Talent Path is a free six-month program within Redbee Academy in Cluj-Napoca.

Fully remote, structured around two things companies are hiring for right now: building with LLMs, and automating real work with AI agents.

What is the AI Talent Program?

Redbee Academy runs free programs that train people the way we work, on real problems and real decisions, guided by our specialists who do this daily. The AI Talent Program is our second program, after the Odoo Talent Program.

It runs for six months, from 1 October 2026, on a single track: the GenAI Talent Path. Everyone in the cohort follows the same path, built around various pillars that run through the whole program: GenAI and LLM application development, and AI agents and workflow automation.

The program is fully remote, with one or two in-person meetups in Cluj-Napoca, and it is completely free. We select 30 people, all based in Cluj-Napoca.

What you will learn

Building with LLMs

You learn to build applications on top of large language models: working with APIs, connecting a model to your own data through retrieval, and handling the parts that decide whether an AI feature actually works in production. This is the pillar everything else rests on.

AI agents and workflow automation

You learn to automate real work: designing agents that carry out multi-step tasks, and connecting systems with automation tools such as n8n and Zapier alongside your own code. This is where AI stops being a demo and starts removing work from someone's day.

AI product thinking

Building is the easier half. You also learn to ask why a company needs something before building it, how to judge whether AI is the right answer at all, and how to explain that decision to the people paying for it. This is the skill that separates a developer from a consultant.

A capstone project

You finish by building something end-to-end and extending the choices you made. It gives you a project to show, and it gives us a real signal about how you work.

FAQ

The programme is open to people based in Cluj-Napoca; all 30 places go to candidates in the city. Anyone can apply, whether they are still enrolled in college or have already finished and want to move into AI. A Computer Science or software engineering degree is not a requirement.

You need a basic programming foundation to keep up, and you need to be comfortable learning on your own.
Yes. Automation tools like n8n and Zapier are part of the curriculum, but the core modules go further than that: building RAG systems, integrating APIs, and completing the capstone all require you to write and read code. Python is the language you will use most across the course ecosystem. You do not need to be a senior developer; you do need to be able to open a file of code and understand what it does.
Four things. You can write and read simple Python: loops, functions, working with lists and dictionaries. You understand what an API is at a surface level: what a request is, what a response is, what an API key does. You can work with JSON data and navigate nested structures. And you have written something that runs, even if it is a small script or a personal project.

Formal credentials help, but we do not require them. A degree, a bootcamp, an internship, or self-taught projects all count as structured exposure. What matters is that programming fundamentals feel familiar rather than new.
Yes; the programme runs self-paced over 6 months in a hybrid format, so you build it around your studies or work, and we track progress along the way to make sure nobody gets left behind.
No. Anyone who has finished their studies and wants to move into AI can apply on the same terms as current students, including career changers and junior developers. The only fixed requirements are the technical baseline and being based in Cluj-Napoca.
