Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Record and manage invoices daily and obtain proper approvals and authorization for invoice payments for subsidiaries.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when coding expenses by using historical information, budgets, and other sources to ensure items are correctly recorded in the general ledger.
- Manage AP mailboxes correspondence.
- Prepare weekly payments reports.
- Process bank statements transactions and perform reconciliation to the general ledger.
- Manage and verify employee expense reports and benefits, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely submission to payroll.
- Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy of activity recorded in the general ledger via timely preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain all working files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
- Support annual financial audits.
- Perform other duties, special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Stay up to date with the best accounting practices and laws.
What you bring to the team
- At least one year of previous experience in Finance or Accounting (is considered a plus)
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Good knowledge of the Google suite (especially Google Sheets and Google Docs)
- Attention to details
- Advanced English skills, both spoken and written (C1 or C2)
- Great numeracy skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proactivity and commitment in the domain
